Keep the model number with its own page

Acorn publishes one page per configuration. The straight-stairlift page identifies the Acorn 130. The curved-stairlift page identifies the Acorn 180. Read the page that matches the quoted unit, because a statement about the brand can describe the other configuration.

The table shows the two facts we verified against those pages: model identity and rated capacity, with the date we read them. Those are the only Acorn specification rows we have verified so far. For any other row, read the linked page itself. Then ask the installer for the drawing and specification that apply to the exact unit in your proposal, because a published page can change after our read date.

Read the Florida prices with their scope

Our verified Acorn price evidence is narrow. One Florida installer publishes installed prices for reconditioned units, and we record them on the Acorn 130 model page and the Acorn 180 curved model page. Each price stays attached to its condition, its seller and Florida. Neither price describes a new Acorn lift, another state or a national average.

The manufacturer pages we captured print no price, so a new-unit price for your staircase comes from a written quote. The stair-lift cost guide explains how to line up proposals, and the stair-lift price calculator returns the Florida used-unit references only when your choices match them. It never turns a stair count into a made-up total.

Request a model-specific installed quote

Ask the seller to name the lift, the rail configuration, the seat options and the work at each landing. Ask whether the price includes delivery, installation, electrical changes, permits and tax. Keep any powered option, such as a folding rail or a powered swivel seat, on its own line so you can compare like work across quotes.

For a used unit, ask for its exact identity, its production version and the documents that support the proposed installation. A current manufacturer page cannot certify the condition of a reconditioned lift, and this page does not certify one either.

Ask about service before you decide

Ask who will install and service the lift, what the written warranty covers and how long it runs, and which visits or parts could carry charges. We have not added a warranty term to our verified Acorn records, so treat the warranty as unconfirmed until you hold the written document.
