How this tool works
Published-reference mode reads one manufacturer price record, checks its age against your planning date and shows the range with its open upper amount, included work and unconfirmed costs. It never calculates a local median, a feature surcharge or a deduction for any program. Quote mode adds the amounts you enter in cents, counts each of seven cost categories once, treats a blank as unknown and labels the subtotal incomplete until every category has an amount or a confirmed inclusion. The two modes never combine. There is no third mode. A regional, brand-comparison or feature-priced mode would need a verified source record, and none exists.

Can I use this without a written quote?
Yes. Choose the published tub price reference for an initial budget. It is one manufacturer’s range across its configurations. Confirm the model, installation scope and service at your address before you rely on it for a purchase.
How do I avoid counting installation twice?
In quote mode, select the inclusion checkbox when installation is included in the equipment package. The separate installation amount is removed and its input is disabled.
Is the upper amount a maximum?
No. The manufacturer prints a plus sign after the upper amount, and a project can cost more. The tool keeps that plus sign and lists the costs that still need confirmation.
