Check model identity and rated capacity

Bruno Independent Living Aids authored the SRE-5000 specification in the table; the copy we read is hosted on a New Jersey dealer's site. Authorship and hosting location are two different facts, and the table links to the document itself. Read it beside the exact model label in your proposal.

The same specification marks the lift for private residences, seats one passenger and lists standard track lengths that the dealer cuts to fit the staircase. It also names two transfer situations for which Bruno does not recommend the Elan and points those riders to a different Bruno model. Read that passage with whoever helps with transfers at home. A capacity figure does not settle seat fit, the way a rider gets on and off, or whether the proposed rail works in your home.

This is one seller-published range for one configuration in one state. It is not a set of completed customer quotes, and a low and a high amount from the same page do not count as two observations. We do not derive a national median or a New Jersey premium from it. The seller ties the spread to staircase length, which is one more reason to get your own measured quote.

The Standard configuration is the only Elan observation in our records. Powered options such as a power swivel seat, a power folding footrest or a power folding rail appear in Bruno's option list and change the scope of the work, so ask for each one on its own line.

Prepare an installer question list

Here is what to ask. Does the proposal match the Standard configuration described here? Have the seller identify the rail length, seat and footrest controls, any powered options, electrical work, permits and tax. Ask which changes would require a revised price and how long the written quote stays valid.
